We extend sympathy, on the passing away of Con Griffin, RIP, to his wife Cait, family and many friends and to Dr Crokes CLG and Fitzgerald Stadium Committee. Con’s service to the GAA, and to East Kerry,  was extensive over many decades.

  Con served on East Kerry Coiste na nOg in the 1980’s and went on to serve on the County Coiste na nOg, as registrar in 1990 to 1991 and as Joint Treasurer (with Liam Moriarty, Kerins O’Rahillys CLG)  from 1992 to 1996. He also gave great help in organising programmes for Coiste na nOg Chiarrai.

  Con was always helpful to East Kerry GAA as a member of the Fitzgerald Stadium Committee. He attended the East Kerry games played in Fitzgerald Stadium, enabling the use of the PA system and assisting in so many ways. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at O’Sheas Funeral Home, Killarney on Thursday evening 29 November 2018 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Removal at 6.30pm on Thursday evening to St Marys Cathedral Killarney. Requiem Mass, Friday at 10.30am.   Burial afterwards at Aghadoe Lawn Cemetery. Family Flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to Palliative Care.
