We extend sympathy on the passing away of Denis Courtney, RIP late of Rockfield, Listry 

to his wife Anne, family, relatives and many friends and to Listry CLG. A Listry stalwart, Denis is a huge loss.

  Denis  has left an amazing legacy and his devotion to Listry GAA has impacted the lives of Listry GAA members, supporters and players.  Denis was a source of inspiration to all that knew him and a great role model  to the juveniles. He supported players from the sideline starting at juvenile level and continuing up to the senior level, attending all matches in every kind of weather conditions. He was a long time member of Listry GAA and maintained a close active interest throughout his life.  Denis served 2 terms as a highly respected  chairman of Listry CLG – the first in the mid 1980’s and again from 2011-2016. He was also a delegate in the Kerry County Committee. Denis has touched the hearts of many for his kindness, dedication and hard work.  He made an immense contribution and will be sadly missed by so many.
