Played in perfect conditions at Fitzgerald Stadium on Monday evening, these great rivals picked up where they left off last week. Alan Dineen opened the scoring with a point for Rathmore before a Dr Crokes counter-attack saw Kryzstian  Kamorska shrug off two defenders to crash a shot to the net. Dan Murphy (Rathmore) and Michael Lenihan then traded points before Sean Mc Gann finished a fine goal to the Rathmore net. Michael Lenihan, Krystian Kamorska and Dan Murphy added points. Half time score, 2-4 to 0-4
On the restart, Rathmore added 3 points from frees by David Dineen  and Dan Murphy, Michael Lenihan replied with a point for the town side.  As the play flowed from end to end it was Dr Crokes who added 3 further points from Sean McGann, and Michael Lenihan(2). With time running out an excellent Dr Crokes defence stood firm with the exception of one further Dan Murphy point. REPORT- Drawn Final – 31 August 2015

Dr Crokes 5-10
Rathmore 6-7 (aet)
On Monday evening last, the 31st August 2015, a fine attendance at Fitzgerald Stadium witnessed a pulsating game of football.
The town team started off strongly getting a point in the opening minute from impressive full forward Michael Linehan. Dr. Crokes went on to dominate the first 20 minutes adding  a further 5 points  including 3 fine efforts from Michael Lenihan. Rathmore were finding it hard to get into the game and being frustrated in their attacking play, however they managed to tag on three points before half-time, in a more fruitful period scored by David Dineen , Dan Murphy and James Darmody. They also saw a crashing shot for goal rebound off a post as Dr Crokes cleared to safety. The halftime score 0-6 to 0-3.
As the second half started this game was really about to take fire. Rathmore came out strong and had a goal in the first minute from a long range effort from Darragh Rahilly found its way to the Crokes net. Dr Crokes responded with a  well worked goal finished by Michael Linehan . As play flowed from end to end Dan Murphy added a further Rathmore goal on the 41st minute.

The crowd were getting full value for money as the teams and traded goal for goal as Alan Dineen (2) and  Lorcan Martin (2) both found the net in a period of frantic high quality play. At the full time whistle the sides were level on a score of 4-9 to 5-6 resulting in extra time.

The first period of extra time yielded just a point a piece with Darragh Rahilly (R) and Ml Lenihan trading scores. As the game entered its grandstand finale a cracking finish to the net from Dr Crokes substitute Adam O Connell seem to put the Black and Amber in the driving seat, however a spirited Rathmore were not to be denied, When they were awarded a 14 yard free up stepped David Dineen and he drop-kicked directly, a bullet of a shot to the corner of the Crokes net.  As Referee Christy Crowley blew the final whistle both teams received a well deserved standing ovation from all present. Both teams were left exhausted and provided all with a night to remember in The Park.
The replay is one not to be missed and will take place back at Fitzgerald Stadium on Monday 7th at 6:30pm
