EAST KERRY/REGION LEAGUE REGULATIONS 2015

2015 JUNIOR LEAGUE REGULATIONS

1. Junior League to comprise of two sections/ groups

  • Top Teams in each group will have home venue.
  • Top two teams in each Section/Group qualify for the Division 1 Semi Finals.
  • The remaining teams will qualify for the Division 2 Semi Finals.

 

2. The Following players are not eligible to play in the Junior League

  • Players on the 1st Fifteen of its clubs last O Donoghue cup game of the previous years
  • Players on the 1st Fifteen submitted for the current year and sanctioned
  • Players on the 1st Fifteen in the senior county championship of the previous year

 

2015 EAST REGION MINOR LEAGUE REGULATIONS

As agreed by the East Kerry/Region Board and East Region clubs at a meeting held on 3rd June 2015 in the Killarney Heights Hotel

DIVISION 1 (15 a Side)

  1. Will consist of five teams: Dr. Crokes, Firies, Spa, Gneeveguilla and Legion.
  2. 1st placed team are in the final with home advantage.
  3. 2nd placed and 3rd placed teams to play Semi-final with 2nd placed team having home advantage.

 

DIVISION 2 (13/15 a side)

  1. Will consist of four teams: Rathmore, Kilcummin, Glenflesk and Beaufort.
  2. 1st placed team are in the final with home advantage.
  3. 2nd placed and 3rd placed teams to play Semi-final with 2nd placed team having home advantage.

 

DIVISION 3 (13 a side)

  1. Will consist of three teams: Cordal/Scartaglen, Fossa and Currow.
  2. Teams will play on a home and away format.
  3. 1st and 2nd placed teams to contest the final, with 1st placed team having home advantage.

 

STARTING DATE FOR EAST REGION MINOR LEAGUE

First round will start Sunday 21st June with every subsequent round after that taking place on Thursday nights

 

REGARDING KERRY MINOR PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

  1. Kerry Minor players are excluded from playing in East Region Minor League.
  2. A player dropped off the Kerry Minor training panel of 30 can play in the East Region Minor league with their clubs.
  3. If Kerry minors are knocked out of the All Ireland Championship in August, Players on the Kerry minor training panel of 30 CANNOT play in the East Region Minor league.
