The East Kerry GAA Board’s Annual Convention took place in the Killarney Heights Hotel on Thursday the 21st January 2016. Mass for deceased members was kindly celebrated beforehand, at 7pm, by Fr O’ Donoghue.
There were a few changes in Officers on the Senior Board, due to the 5 year rule:
Pat O’ Brien was elected unopposed as the new Treasurer, replacing Pat Delaney, who had served for 5 years .
Garry O’ Halloran, Kilcummin was elected as the new Hurling Officer -replacing Pat O Brien who had stepped down as the Hurling Officer
Pat Delaney,St Pates EK Hurling was elected as the Assistant Treasurer – replacing Pa Doyle, Legion, who had served 5 years
Amy Reidy, Cordal, was elected Scór Officer – replacing Mary Phillpott, Currow, who had served a 5 years.
EK Coiste na nÓg remains unchanged
Tributes were paid to Cáit O Sullivan Darcy who stepped down from her role in the CCC
The new CCC will be named at the next EK Boards meeting, on February 23rd 2016 and the current CCC will remain in place until then.
