Captain Dan O Donoghue Dan told me it was unbelievable to win a second County Championship in a row and that the final was similar to last year with an early second half burst proving critical.
Man of the Match David Clifford David said that when the space opened up for his goal he thought go for it and that even though the team had less time together this year, the Rathmore players had fitted seamlessly in
Full Forward Darragh Roche Darragh said that scoring a goal and winning a County Final for the second year in a row was an unbelievable feeling and praised the effort of all the lads given the short preparation time this year.
Selector Sean Cronin Sean was thrilled with the victory and praised the team for surviving Mid Kerrys tough first half performance to dominate the second half.
Manager Jerry O Sullivan Jerry told me it was a great result, that the objective was to retain the Bishop Moynihan, praised the new players that had come into the team this year, and thanked all the panel and coaching team for their outstanding effort with limited preparation.
