A minutes silence was observed before the recent meeting of the East Kerry Board in honour of the late Noreen O Connor Cronin R.I.P. serving Child Welfare Officer at the time of her untimely passing away

Cornelius (Cono) O’ Sullivan RIP Clohane, Headford. Cono is father of Kieran O’Sullivan, Glenflesk C.L.G. and grandfather of Killann O’ Sullivan 2020 East Kerry Minor Captain, Kerry Minor & Glenfesk player.

Padraig O’Donoghue RIP Droumnaharee, Glenflesk. Padraig is a nephew of the late Dr. Paddy O Donoghue in whose memory the Dr O Donoghue Cup is presented to the winners of the East Kerry Senior Championship and a brother of Jerh O Donoghue, founder of Rathmore Social Action Group and Micheal of the Glenflesk GAA Book, Glimpses from the Glen. Padraig played with Glenflesk C.L.G. and in 1957 he was a member of the team which won the East Kerry Junior Championship. He also served as a coach and selector with Glenflesk under age and senior teams.

Frances Falvey nee O’Callaghan, Main St., Annascaul and formerly of Tullig, Castlegregory, Co. Kerry, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at West Kerry Community Hospital on 15thApril 2021, beloved wife of Denny and dearest mother of Breda, John, Tim & Brendan. Sadly missed by her loving family, her grandchildren Niall, Jack, Alan, Aoife, Killian, Emma, Peter, Lily & Hannah, son-in-law Mike, daughters-in-law Mary, Fiona & Nancy, brother Michael, sisters Maureen & Kathleen, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends. Rest in Peace. We are saddened to announce the passing of Mary McCarthy – Glynn Isle of Man and formerly Ballycullane, Rathmore, Co. Kerry on Wednesday, 24th March, 2021. Predeceased by her parents Denis and Mary. She is mourned by her husband Steve, sister Kathleen, brother Patrick, brother in law John, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends. Noreen, the serving East Kerry GAA Child Welfare Officer, gave great commitment to the Board in her role. Noreen also gave great service to her club, Gneeveguilla C.L.G. both on the ladies committee and as an Officer. She will be sadly missed by so many.

The death has occurred of Noreen O’Connor – Cronin Tureencahill, Gneeveguilla, Co. Kerry and formerly of Ballinahulla, Ballydesmond, Co. Cork. On March 29th, peacefully in the presence of her family, at Kerry University Hospital, Noreen, dear wife of Donal and loving mother of Jerry and John. Predeceased by her parents Darby and Nora O’Connor. Sadly missed by her loving family brothers Daniel and Denis, sister Eileen, father in law Johnny, mother in law Betty, neices, nephews, brothers in law, sisters in law, kind neighbours and her many friends.
